1) Basic Insurance Cover: $0 per day (excess $4500)

All cars hired by Kiwi Car Rental include Basic Insurance for no extra charge. This insurance includes CDW
(collision damage waiver), Third-Party Liability Protection Insurance, and Theft Waiver Insurance, subject
to payment of an excess of $4500.

This means that in the unfortunate event that the rental vehicle is involved in an accident or damage, the
hirer is liable for the associated excess value to cover any repair costs.
2) Standard Insurance Cover: $15 per day (Excess $3500)

This cover generally reduces the hirer’s financial risk but doesn’t eliminate it. If hirers purchase this
standard insurance cover, it reduces the excess payment to $3500.

- Free Roadside assistance (No call out charges)
What’s Typically NOT Included
- Tyres, windscreen, wing mirror, wheel cap damages
- Interior damage
- Lost keys or lockouts
- Roadside Assistance-Towage costs associated with any damage.
4) Premium Comprehensive Protection Insurance Cover: $45 per day (Excess $0)

- Covers repair or replacement of the rental vehicle
- Applies to accidents (at fault or not), subject to terms

- Covers loss of vehicle due to theft
- Valid when rental conditions are followed

- 24/7 roadside assistance

Insurance do not cover lost key replacement costs, roadside assistance costs, or towing costs related to any
form of damage.
